Computer Science at PPIU | Spring Microservices at ISTAD

I am a dedicated computer science student at PPIU, passionate about technology and problem-solving. I have completed Full Stack Web Development at ISTAD, gaining hands-on experience in both frontend and backend technologies. Currently, I am expanding my expertise by learning Spring microservices, diving deeper into building scalable and distributed systems. I am constantly exploring new tools and frameworks to create modern, responsive, and efficient web applications. With a strong interest in software development and a commitment to continuous learning, I am eager to contribute to real-world projects and grow as a developer.

Projects

  1. exSTAD

exSTAD is an innovative learning management system solution to facilitate course management and educational content delivery to scholarship and short course programs. exSTAD key features include the ability to create and organize training program, centralize course materials, manage user roles and enrollments, track learner progress and generate detailed reports.

  2. Product Management System

A Java-based application using Gradle, JDBC, and file handling. On first run, it registers users by storing their email and password in a file. After that, it auto-logins using the stored credentials. Users can view products, add items to a cart, and place orders. This project highlights basic authentication, file I/O, and product management features in Java.

  3. Fluent Flow

Fluent-Flow is an innovative English learning platform designed specifically for Khmer learners. With bilingual support (English & Khmer), interactive lessons, and AI-powered assistance, users can improve their English skills through engaging exercises, videos, and infographics.

Education

  1. Institute of Science and Technology Advanced Development (ISTAD)

    Professional Training Program

    - Spring Boot Microservices Architecture: Learned key microservices architecture and design patterns such as API Gateway, Service Discovery, Config Server, Circuit Breaker, and Event-Driven communication, with supporting observability practices using Grafana, Loki, Alloy, Spring Actuator, Micrometer, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.

    - Full-Stack Web Development: Learned to build end-to-end applications using Spring Boot, React.js, Next.js, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Keycloak.

    - Web Development Foundations: Learned core web development concepts and fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, React.js, and Java.

  2. Phnom Penh International University (PPIU)

    Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Phnom Penh International University (PPIU), where I am building a strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software engineering. Through coursework and hands-on projects, I continue to strengthen my problem-solving ability and practical development skills for real-world software challenges.
